The position
As Supply Manager, you role involves setting up and overseeing the supply of single dose devices and raw materials from our suppliers to our global production network, safeguarding the reliability of the supply chain, and focusing on adequate capacity and optimal supply chain set-up with our suppliers. To achieve this, it is critical to secure strong collaboration with key internal stakeholders including QA, Device Manufacturing Development, Process Support, Logistics, Business Support and Strategic Sourcing.
Your tasks include:
Driving the setup of a new supply chain from global suppliers to internal and external production
Serving as the bridge between Novo Nordisk and our suppliers, coordinating operational and tactical initiatives with Planning, Project Office, Strategic Sourcing, and Device Manufacturing Development
Ensuring a consistent and reliable supply, continually enhancing performance and nurturing collaboration with our suppliers
Continuously improving our own processes with a cLean mindset
Cultivating robust relationships with both our suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The job is located in Odense, but for the first 1-2 years frequent travel to the Hillerød/Greater Copenhagen area will be required. You should also expect occasional international travel to visit suppliers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you:
Hold a master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business, procurement, manufacturing, or a related field
Have a minimum of 3 years of pertinent work experience in supplier management, supply chain management and production
Possess a strong drive and enjoy setting direction, capable of prioritising tasks and planning ahead
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, along with experience in process optimization and LEAN tools
Exhibit fluency in both written and spoken English.
